Dutch
Leena Lander's novel Käsky ('Command', WSOY) has been translated by Marja-Leena Hellings and published under the title Het bevel. The publisher is Wereldbibliotheek of Amsterdam.
    Wereldebibliotheek has also published a novel by Arto Paasilinna, Hurmaava joukkoitsemurha ('An enchanting mass suicide', WSOY): the title is De zelfmoordclub and the translator is Annemarie Raas.
Kjell Westö's novel Lang (Söderströms) has been published under the title In de val van de verleiding by De Geus of Breda. The translator is Clementine Luijten.

English
A selection of Finnish poetry, edited by Anni Sumari, has been published under the title How To Address the Fog: XXV Finnish Poems 1978-2002. The translators are David McDuff, Donald Adamson and Robin Fulton. The publishers are the Scottish Poetry Library of Edinburgh & Carcanet Press Ltd.
    A selection of Finnish plays have been published by the Finnish Literature Society of Helsinki, edited by Pirkko Koski and Steve Wilmer. The title is Stages of Chaos: The Drama of Post-war Finland, and the books contains a play each by Veijo Meri, Eeva-Liisa Manner, Jussi Kylätasku and by Paavo Rintala (originally a novel, dramatised by Vesa Tapio Valo). The translators are Herbert Lomas, J.R. Pitkin, Diana Tullberg and Marja and Steve Wilmer.

French
The January issue of La Nouvelle Revue Française of Paris (N 572) contains poems by Lauri Otonkoski, Olli Heikkonen, Riina Katajavuori, Jyrki Kiiskinen, Helena Sinervo, Markku Paasonen and Jukka Koskelainen. The translator is Gabriel Rebourcet.

Kari Hotakainen's Finlandia Prize -winning novel Juoksuhaudantie ('The Trench Road', WSOY) has been translated by Stefan Moster. The title is Aus dem Leben eines unglücklichen Mannes, and the publisher is Piper of Munich.

    Harri Nykänen's crime story Raid ja poika ('Raid and the boy', WSOY) has been published by Grafit of Dortmund under the title Raid und der dumme Junge. The translator is Regine Pirschel.
    A thriller by Taavi Soininvaara, Koston komissio ('The revenge commission', Tammi), has been translated by Peter Uhlmann. The publisher is Gustav Kiepenheuer of Berlin and the title is Finnisches Requiem.

Hebrew
Two stories by the classic writer Eino Leino ('Mesikämmen', 'Musti', Finnish Literature Society) have been translated and introduced by Rami Saari. The publisher is Carmel of Jerusalem.

Latvian
The first novel, Auringon asema, by Ranya Paasonen (formerly ElRamly, Otava) has been published by Neptuns of Riga.The title is Saules gaita and the translator is Ingrida Peldekse.
    A novel by Kauko Röyhkä, Kaksi aurinkoa ('Two suns', Like) has been translated by Matiss Treimanis. The title is Divas saules and the publisher is Izdevnieciba of Riga.

Lithuanian
Arto Paasilinna's novel Hurmaava joukkoitsemurha ('An enchanting mass suicide', WSOY) has been published under the title Grupines savizudybes magija. The publisher is Charibde of Vilnius, and the translator is Danute Sirijos Giraite.
    The novel Mikael Karvajalka (Michael the Finn / The Adventurer, WSOY) by Mika Waltari has been translated by Aida Krilaviciene and published by Tyto alba of Vilnius. The title is Mikaelis Klajunas.

Norwegian
